The Rodent
I have had a difficult week. I have been busy with newspaper work and preparing for an Anatomy & Physiology test at school. I didn’t have any newspaper work yesterday or today, but I’m back in full swing starting tomorrow night with sports. Hickory High is visiting Maiden tomorrow night and Lenoir-Rhyne’s women are at home on Saturday night. I’ll have to work all day on either Saturday or Sunday this weekend, but I’m not sure which just yet.
My mouse was sitting here on my mouse pad, and my camera was close at hand, so I made a quick photo for today’s blog entry.
I’m quite impressed with the new blogging system. I have a lot more control than I did in the past. I’m also hosting this myself, so I won’t be constantly irritated by poor performance on the google side of things. After I converted this blog to the WordPress system, I did the same for the Catawba Valley Camera Club site. I used a different theme for it, but the functionality is all the same.

Blog looks nice. I’m learning WordPress too, and it’s an excellent hunk o’ code. The mySQL gets easier (so I hear) the more you work with it. I just like the fact that it’s all open source and so many people are developing themes, widgets, etc for it.
