The Final Resting Place…

The Unites States Navy decommissioned the F-14 Tomcat on October 4, 2006. The Sabre Society of North Carolina acquired the actual LAST plane to fly in service. This Tomcat was part of a squadron on the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. This aircraft has become part of a museum in Hickory, North Carolina along with several other fighter jets that span the jet age in the US Military.
