For #1, those must only work on the online version. The locally installed version doesn’t seem to provide a way to do this. I’ll keep trying. I can’t see the stats you mentioned in #2 unless they are visible somewhere I’m not looking…

Answer to #1 and #2 of your blog.
#1. I am studying Rosetta Stone Spanish (Lat Amer) level 1 online and I can use my keyboard for the writing and diction assignments. Try typing with the keyboard and watch the keyboard on screen to figure out which keys control which functions.

#2. Online I can see all my progress. I can see how many assignments I have worked and how many hours, minutes, I have spent studying. Also a chart shows which units I have completed and any partial completions.

You can get Rosetta Stone free online from many public libraries.. It is called onlinelanguagelearning or OLLC. All you need is a library card number. Do a search on Google and check it out. And check your local library.

I can’t use it on the iPod, but I may buy a couple of those listening programs a little later so I can. How do you like them?

You can’t put it on your iPod? Lame.
I’ve been using Pimsleur Quick & Simple Spanish 2nd Revised Edition Part 1 of 2 and a few for Arabic. Arabic is not very fun but interesting.
