Madison Bumgarner - South Caldwell

I got to go to my first South Caldwell High School baseball game of the season tonight. There is quite a buzz in the neighborhood these days about the future of Madison Bumgarner. I have had the privilege of watching this young man develop over the last three baseball seasons at South Caldwell and on the Post 29 Legion team. Watching him on the mound tonight made me understand what all the buzz is actually about. I’ll be following up this post in the near future with some more specific information and some additional photos.
Madison is causing the phone lines in Missouri to buzz! I am originally from the Granite Falls area and keep up with the area high school teams. I got a call from St. Louis inquiring about Madison.
I am a huge Diamondbacks fan and I hope they draft him. First of all, MiLB.com says he may throw up to 98 mph as he matures, and two, they need a left handed pitcher and I heard he has good control for a hard thrower.
This is my 2nd cousin and I hope he does not get drafted by the YANKEES!! I live in Missouri and would love to see him pitch in the majors in a couple of years.
He is a SF Giant!!!
