A Video Portfolio

In an effort to continue learning how to produce quality video for use on YouTube, I created a quick portfolio of my art photography. I bought Cyberlink’s PowerDirector v6 software for my video editing based on some highly respectable reviews and comparisons that I read online in various places. All of the video I have produced so far to use on YouTube looks pretty much like crap. The video quality is blocky and just doesn’t look good at all. After reading a lot about this process, I have learned some things that simply may not be something I can change. YouTube reprocesses the video files you upload so they can be displayed in their flash player, which is compatible with multiple OS platforms. The video playback is also enlarged from the original 320×240 pixel format, which further contributes to poor quality video. Some of the videos I see on YouTube look a lot better than others, so there must be something I can do to at least improve the quality…
