I just wanted to let you know that I have been admiring your photography skills and love your webiste. I live in Ringgold, Georgia and a mother of athletes with a hobby of taking action pictures for our local schools. I am purchasing a Canon 70-200 mm f 2.8 L IS lens because of your great basketball and baseball pictures! Keep up the good work and can’t wait to view your future work!

Christie, you will enjoy that lens quite a bit. I’m not normally able to use that lens for basketball due to the poor lighting in our local gyms. I have been shooting basketball with a 50mm f/1.4, but the 50 f/1.8 would work. I’m planning to buy the 85 f/1.8 soon and I’ll probably shoot basketball with that lens next season…
