Dale Jarrett Shootout
Day two of this year's Greater Hickory Classic week is centered around the Dale Jarrett Shootout, which is a 5-hole Celebrity/Pro/Amateur charity event. In the above photo, former NASCAR great Ned Jarrett chips out of a bunker on the 18th green of the Jones course at Rock Barn. Today's shootout played holes 1, 2, 16, 17, and 18 of the Jones course.
Tomorrow's events include day one of the Pro-Am with two shotgun starts. The first is at 8am and the second is at 1pm. It's gonna be cooler tomorrow with a chance of showers, so hopefully we'll get some golf in without weather being too much of a problem...
